Dental Camp – March 2025

CWC is excited to share the success of our recent Free Dental Camp, held in the LUMO Conservancy area in partnership with the Olmalaika Trust team (led by Kim DeWitt) along with Sunworld Safaris and Soroi Collection. Over the course of four impactful days; March 8th to 9th at Mwanjila Youth Polytechnic and March 10th to 11th at Maktau Comprehensive School, Kim and a dedicated team of five dentists and four support staff provided essential dental care to the LUMO community. Patients received a full range of dental services, ensuring life-changing treatment for those in need.

Dental & Medical Camp

The camp was conducted for the LUMO Community, at Godoma Primary and Msorongo Primary on 12th & 13th, and 14th & 15th of March 2024 respectively. This was in partnership with the Olmalaika Trust, who were the main organizers, while Soroi Collection, Lions Bluff Lodge, LUMO Community Wildlife Conservancy, Mama Project and Taita Taveta department of health also took part.

Medical Camp

These are clinics conducted in partnership with the Ol-Malaika Trust. The clinics offer general medical care and dental care. So far, we have successfully done 8 medical and dental clinics. Each year, we anticipate conducting 2 camps for the LUMO community in March and October. This year, we have introduced the clinic for the Samburu community.
