CWC partners with the two youth groups in Samburu to collect plastics from Archers Post town. This is an extension of the “Plastic for Books” Project, tailor-made to suit the needs of the two groups. We have supplied the two groups with mesh cages, which they have put at different points in town, and the two groups coordinate their plastics collection. So far, from the plastic proceeds, Exotica FC obtains jerseys, footballs, and other training equipment, while TSAP gets materials such as banners and other materials to aid their environmental conservation advocacy.
We also engage with the two groups to conduct time-to-time clean-up activities around Archers Post town.
